CNC Punching
Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) punching is a manufacturing process in which the punch press machine is programmed, according to the drawings, to accurately position a sheet of metal under a punching ram. The choice of hole punched can be as simple as a circle or rectangle, or can be a special shape to suit a specific cut out design. We utilize single head and multi-tool turret design punch presses with 22-30 ton capacity on material up to ¼” in thickness.
Bending
When it comes to forming metal, we are not your average shop. Over the years we have perfected our forming methods and techniques along with machines and specially designed tooling to meet your specific needs. Our CNC brake press ranges from 100 to 250 ton @ 12’-0” long creating sharp bends as well as complex radius and angle bends.
Shearing/Cutting
Shearing is a process, which cuts stock without the formation of chips or the use of burning or melting. The most commonly sheared materials are in the form of sheet metal or plates, our shear capacity is from 24 gauge to 3/8 thick plate at 12 feet length. Our Vertical Tilt Framing Band Saw is capable of making any straight or miter cut with a capacity of 18”x22”. In addition, our CNC Controlled Circular Sawing Machine is capable of cutting in large quantities with very high accuracy.
Rolling/Forming (sheet and tube)
Rolling/forming is a continuous bending operation where a long strip of sheet metal is passed through sets of rolls or stands, each performing an incremental part of the bend. Rolling/forming is ideal when you want large quantities, in a small amount of time. Over the years at Creative Metal Works, we have been able to develop specific techniques that allow us to create specific shapes, sheets, angles and tubing unlike any other metal works company.
Mig, Tig, & Spot Welding

Powder Coating
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a dry powder. Unlike a conventional liquid paint, powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in liquid suspension form. Our Nordson Powder Coat Guns and JBI powder booth and curing oven allow us to create beautiful coatings on a wide range of metals. Our powder coating is able to be custom tailored to your design, and comes in all standard colors, finishes, epoxies, polyesters and urethanes.
